Argyle Community Church - Midweek Groups

At Argyle, as well as the Sunday service, we also run midweek study groups. This page gives details about what they do, and where they meet.

Study Groups

Study groups usually meet on a Wednesday or Thursday night, normally meeting in someone's home. Studies are always Bible focused, and every one is encouraged to give their opinion or thoughts.

HD

HD is a social study group for those aged 16 - early twenties, meeting on a Sunday evening (6pm-8pm) in East Reading and aims to provide space for people to get a practical grasp of what Christianity is all about, as well as having a really good laugh.
Lots of Bible based studies, good food, and great company make HD a really worthwhile way to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday evening.

Friends and Neighbours

Friends and Neighbours is run on the third Wednesday of every month, 2pm-4pm, usually taking place at the Church.
Interesting talks, home-made cakes and tea, indoor bowls, and a great way to meet other older people from around the area.

Study and social groups are for everyone, however extensive or limited your knowledge of the Bible or Christianity is. It's important to support each other, and being involved in one of these groups is a great way to gain friendships as well as a real understanding of the Bible.
