Kids ministries

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."

Matthew 19:14

YOUR CHILDREN ARE THE LEADERS OF TOMORROW.
LET'S DEVELOP THEM INTO INFLUENCERS FOR CHRIST TODAY.

We believe that every child is made by God to be a leader in this world. A leader is someone who has the opportunity to influence the life of another. Because of this, we dedicate ourselves to providing the Biblical training necessary for your child to become the leader God designed them to be.

Our Goals

To teach your children, through our words and actions, of God’s great love for them and show them how they can have an eternal relationship with Him.
To help your children understand that God is their sole authority and that the Bible is the only source of absolute truth.
To show them the great men and women of the Bible who succeeded by following God’s plan and teach them how they can apply the same principles of success to their own lives as they grow.
To give your children opportunities to live out what they believe by serving in the church and their community.
To partner with you, as the parent, by providing you the necessary tools and knowledge to give your children spiritual leadership instruction at home.

Health & Safety

ACC is very mindful of the safety of your child and we employ the following procedures:
Secure check-in/pick-up process.
Provide a minimum of two teachers per classroom.
All volunteers have current background checks on file.
Sanitizing of flooring and all toys before, during and after each service.
Text you during the service if there is a need to contact you regarding your child.

Check-In

We are excited that your family will be joining us!
Here are some  details to ensure a seamless experience for you and your family with our children’s ministry staff.
Children will be checked in upon arrival.
Upon check-in, your child will receive a name tag and you will receive a matching pick-up tag. You will use this pick-up tag to pick up your child, so don’t lose it.
The person picking up the child must have the tag and be 18 years or older. When you pick up your child, we will match the number on your tag with your child’s tag to confirm and you will be free to leave.

Nursery

In the ACC Nursery group, children begin their journey toward lifelong learning and leadership in a clean, safe and nurturing environment. Young children are constantly moving, touching and investigating.
So in this age group we use developmental toys, age-appropriate Bible lessons, music and influential adult volunteers to facilitate learning through experience, imitation and repetition.

Preschool

As your children move from nursery to preschool, we begin our leadership training. We help set the foundation of who God is, how much He loves us and how we can obey Him.
We utilize a strong, time-tested curriculum that incorporates animated videos, interactive activities, games, crafts, skits, and songs to help your children learn the Bible lessons and apply the leadership lessons to their lives.
For preschoolers in diapers, we recommend bringing a diaper bag, diapers, wet wipes, change of clothes, blanket, bottles and pacifiers. Please label all items.

Elementary

In our Elementary-aged group, children learn how the principles and truths of the Bible apply to their everyday lives.
Through the many stories found in the Bible, children will develop an understanding of how God wants to use them to be leaders in their school and into the future.
In our program, we utilize many different teaching methods including live- action videos and performances; object lessons; small group lessons; music; and much more.
